We believe careers rarely begin with a job title. They begin with curiosity.
We follow our curiosity to introduce you to the engineers, scientists, designers, technicians and innovators solving real-world problems across every industry imaginable. Through authentic conversations, we explore how they got started, what they actually do, and the unexpected paths that led them there.

The Founder
Hi, I'm Jaz.
I'm a mum, engineer, veteran and STEM advocate who has spent my career working across industry in nuclear security, engineering and critical infrastructure. One question has consistently popped up throughout my career:
Why aren't more young people excited by careers in STEM industry?
Every industry relies on extraordinary STEM professionals—engineers, scientists, technologists, data analysts, designers and technicians—yet many of the most exciting careers remain invisible to the people who might one day thrive in them.
As Australia looks to the future, we will need a new generation of STEM professionals to solve challenges we haven't even imagined yet. Building that workforce starts with helping young people see what's possible.
That's why I created Following Curiosity.
This platform celebrates the people behind the technology, the products and the innovations we use every day. Through authentic conversations, I hope to connect curiosity with opportunity and show that there is a STEM career for almost every passion.
Because careers don't always begin with a plan.
